1. What we do not collect
This service has no registration, no login, and no payments. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other information that identifies you.
There is no application server and no database behind this site. Every feature runs inside your own browser.
2. What is stored in your browser
So that the site remembers how you like it, the following values are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are not transmitted to the operator or to anyone else.
- Timer settings: focus length, break lengths, and how often a long break occurs
- Which ambient sounds you have enabled and the volume of each
- Your theme choice (dark or light)
How to delete it
Clearing site data, or cookies and site data, for this site in your browser settings removes all of the above. The next visit starts from the defaults.
3. Advertising and cookies
This site carries advertising through Google AdSense to cover its running costs. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies individually at aboutads.info.
The operator of this site has no access to the data these vendors collect and keeps no per-visitor advertising identifiers.
4. Outbound requests
The site calls no external API to do its job. The timer and the sound engine run entirely in your browser, and audio files are served from this same domain.
The one exception is the Google AdSense script required to display advertising, which operates under Google's own privacy policy.
5. Children
Because the service collects no personal information, there is no separate parental consent process. We still recommend that younger children use it with the guidance of a parent or guardian.
